New Pointe Communities, Inc. is a private Real Estate Development and Homebuilding Company founded in 2007. Recently named San Diego North Chamber of Commerce's Entrepreneur of the Year, NPC has developed and sold 16 homes burned in the 2007 Wildfires. NPC is currently building in Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Cardiff, and Carlsbad.
Scot Sandstrom, President
Scot Sandstrom, President of NPC, Inc. is in his 23rd year in the homebuilding industry, working with such homebuilders as Richmond American Homes and D.R. Horton Homes, in San Diego, Sacramento, and the Inland Empire areas of California. Scot's business acumen, industry knowledge, and experience puts him at the leading edge of real estate development and homebuilding in San Diego.
Scot is a past President of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of San Diego, a 1,474 member non-profit organization representing over 170,000 people within the building industry of San Diego. Scot has also been the past President of the North County Division of the Building Industry Association and Membership Chair for the BIA in 2002 and 2003. Scott Jones, Construction Manager
Scott Jones, Construction Manager for New Pointe Communities joined the company in 2008. He oversees the building and construction of all NPC, Inc. projects with keen attention to detail, making the projects the spectacular example of workmanship they are. Scott has been in the homebuilding industry for over twenty years. He has successfully completed both single and multifamily projects for companies such as Western Pacific Housing, D. R. Horton Homes and Trimark Pacific Homes. During his tenure at Trimark Pacific Homes he was nominated for the BIA superintendent of the year.
Kassandra Sandstrom, Community Development Coordinator
Kassandra Sandstrom joined NPC,Inc. in November of 2009 as the Community Development Coordinator. Kassi handles the social media and community affairs for the company. Kassi grew up in the Real Estate Development industry, trailing one step behind her Dad. She is currently attending Point Loma Nazarene University pursuing a degree in Business Communications with a minor in Non-Profit Management and Psychology.
Tyler Sandstrom joined New Pointe Communities, Inc. in early November of 2009 as the new Project Manager. Tyler went to high school at Westview in San Diego before obtaining an academic scholarship to Arizona State University. At Arizona State Tyler became heavily involved in the international business fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi holding multiple positions, including Senior Vice President. Tyler graduated Magna Cum Laude from the nationally ranked W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Kari & Mark Shea of Shea Real Estate & Investment Group handle all purchase and sales of New Pointe Communities, Inc. homes. Their mix of business acumen and "human expertise" create a unique blend of empowerment that allows clients to navigate the most challenging San Diego real estate transactions.
They collectively bring over 45 years of sales, marketing, and consulting experience in highly competitive industries to the Shea Real Estate Team.
Kim Sandstrom, Accounting & Finance Manager
Kim joined NPC,Inc. in its early formations. She currently handles all accounting services for the company.
